Eligibility:
- Meet Income Guidelines (see below)
- Attend a HUD-Apporved Homebuyer’s Education Class
- Have not owned a home in the last 3 years
- Have a social security number
- Purchase a home in Montgomery County (outside the city limits of Conroe)
- Maximum sales price as set by HUD ($189,000 existing home, $224,000 new construction)
- Qualify with a lender of your choice
- Up to $14,500 for a resale or new construction home. Must be built after Jan. 1979
