What homebuyers ask us most

Do I have to pay the money back?

It depends on the program. Many Texas programs (TSAHC, SETH) are grants you never repay. Others are forgivable after a set period, and a few are low-interest second mortgages. The quiz flags which type you’d qualify for.

I’m not a first-time buyer — am I out of luck?

Not necessarily. Several statewide programs allow repeat buyers, and “first-time” usually just means you haven’t owned in the last 3 years. Answer “yes” on the quiz and we’ll show you the repeat-buyer-friendly options.

What credit score do I need?

Most programs start around 620, and some are more flexible. If your credit needs work, we can connect you with lenders and a simple plan to get there — many of our clients started below the line.

Is there a cost to work with you?
